Brightwater is seeking a Communications Lead to join our corporate team based out of our lovely Head Office in Inglewood. In this dynamic role, you’ll shape and deliver clear, engaging communications that influence diverse audiences. Blending strategy, creativity and stakeholder engagement, you’ll build trusted relationships, create high-quality content, and translate complex information into impactful messaging.
Key duties/accountabilities:
Lead and deliver strategic communications that enhance reputation and stakeholder engagement.
Build strong relationships and elevate brand visibility through media, storytelling and targeted campaigns.
Monitor media and stakeholder sentiment, managing issues and supporting crisis communications.
Deliver clear, consistent messaging across internal, external and executive channels.
Drive continuous improvement of communications services, including planning, reporting and team support.
Mentor colleagues, fostering a positive, customer-focused team culture.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
Relevant qualification in communications, PR or journalism, or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to develop and deliver effective communication strategies.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across diverse audiences.
Experience delivering integrated communications across multiple channels.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills, with a proactive approach
Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months and hold a valid and satisfactory NDIS.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
