Speech Pathologist – Brightwater At Home

Permanent Part-Time Opportunity | 1 - 2 Days per Week South of the River, Perth

An exciting internal opportunity is available for a Speech Pathologist to join the Brightwater At Home team on a permanent part-time basis, working 1 - 2 days per week across Perth's southern metropolitan region.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver person-centred speech pathology services that enable customers to maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life while remaining in their own homes and communities.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist within Brightwater At Home, you will work collaboratively with customers, families, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based interventions that support communication and swallowing outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech pathology assessments for customers living in the community.
  • Developing and implementing person-centred therapy and management plans.
  • Providing assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Supporting customers, families, and carers through education, training, and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to achieve customer goals and optimise outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports in accordance with professional standards.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice service delivery.
