The position:
Brightwater has an opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to manage our state-of-the-art, 128-bed residential aged care facility in Inglewood.
The Service Manager position is responsible for overseeing clinical care, financial management, staff recruitment, and ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
This position is being offered on a permanent full time basis working core business hours Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. Leading a large and diverse team to provide quality care to our clients in line with Brightwater’s Mission and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Experience as a Service Manager, qualified and suitably registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (desirable).
· Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care using a client-centred approach.
· Sound understanding of accreditation in aged care or health and the federal and state aged care reforms, and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
· Demonstrated experience in the operational management of physical, human and financial resources, including budgeting, recruitment, performance management, training and development, with knowledge of safety and health legislation and employment legislation.
