Brightwater has a Clinical Nurse Manager opportunity based north of the river.  This is a permanent full-time position working core business hours.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) you will work in partnership with the site Service Manager, you will steer a dedicated team of care professionals, ensuring that all clinical processes from assessments and care planning to compliance and staff development-are executed to the highest standards. This position is integral to maintaining exceptional clinical outcomes, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring residents feel at home, valued, and well cared for.

As a well-established and diverse organisation, we can offer opportunities for the right clinical professional to lead a clinical team within residential aged care. You will be supported to progress in your CNM role, and to develop your skills in aged care nursing and in clinical leadership.

About you:

  • Minimum of 3+ experience as a Clinical Nurse (ideally within a Residential Aged Care environment) or equivalent and currently registered with the AHPRA.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Leadership capability and initiative, including an interest in leading and supporting others.
  • Motivation and capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary model.
  • Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The capability to liaise, consult and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build successful relationships.
  • Knowledge of the aged care sector, standards
  • Exposure to recruitment practices, and an understanding of staff performance management and development processes
  • Availability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients or their families. It is a requirement of this position to participate in an on-call roster.
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
  • This a Key Personnel role and additional Integrity Screening checks will be carried out.
