This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Care Workers to join our residential aged care team based at our Inglewood site on a permanent part-time basis.

The successful candidates will be working at Brightwater Inglewood; comprising 128 private rooms and located within our Brightwater Central campus.

Multi Skilled Care Workers work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

To be considered for this role you must be available to work at least three days each week, with preference given to candidates available on week days and for multiple shift types (mornings, afternoons and nights). Shifts and contract hours will be negotiated with successful candidates.

Candidates will be considered for future similar vacancies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering quality care and support to our clients
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
  • Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Aged-care experience and this will preferably include dementia care
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • An empathetic, compassionate nature and a client-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload safely and efficiently
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
