We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hotel Services team member with experience in Kitchenhand & Cleaning to join our passionate Disability team working in our Warnbro Supported Independent Living house. 

As part of our Brightwater Disability team you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

We currently have a permanent part time contract working 36 hours per fortnight Tuesday, Thursdays & Fridays (9am-3pm).

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained environment, thorough laundry services and meals and refreshment requirements for clients, keeping with health codes and regulations.

To be suitable for this role, you will have:

• A caring and positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a clean, sanitary and homely environment
• Conduct cleaning stock and equipment audits and order cleaning stock as required
• Upholding health codes and regulations by providing a high-quality service
