Finance | Permanent part-time (3 days per week, 46 hours per fortnight)

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions while providing outstanding support to internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase orders, invoices, credit notes and payment adjustments
  • Managing supplier queries and resolving account issues promptly
  • Preparing and processing EFT and cheque payment runs
  • Reconciling creditor statements and following up outstanding items
  • Reconciling the Accounts Payable subledger to the General Ledger monthly
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable function
  • Building effective working relationships across the organisation and with external suppliers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
  • Relevant qualifications or substantial equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Desirable

  • Experience within aged care, healthcare or a service-based organisation
  • Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP/accounting systems

You will also need:

  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained in the last 12 months
