Service Manager | Brightwater Birralee Innaloo

Lead with Purpose. Inspire Excellence. Make a Lasting Impact.

At Brightwater, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional leadership. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead Brightwater Birralee, a unique and rewarding service that combines Residential Aged Care and Transition Care in the heart of Innaloo.

This is more than a management role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of care, empower teams to thrive, and create meaningful outcomes for clients and their families.

Why This Role?

As Service Manager, you will take ownership of a well-established service that supports:

  • 30 permanent residential aged care residents
  • 30 transition care clients focused on goal-directed reablement and recovery

This diverse environment offers the best of both worlds—long-term relationship-based care and the rewarding opportunity to support clients transitioning from hospital back to independence.

You'll have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and drive excellence while being supported by a respected organisation with over 120 years of experience in delivering outstanding care.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As the operational and clinical leader of the site, you will:

  • Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture where staff feel engaged and empowered
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and evolving sector reforms
  • Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, and resource management
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and key stakeholders
  • Champion a culture of quality, safety, innovation, and person-centred care

About You

You are a confident and people-focused leader with a proven track record of successfully leading residential aged care services.

You bring:

  • Previous experience as a Service Manager or senior operational leader within aged care
  • Ahpra registration (highly regarded)
  • Strong business acumen, including financial and workforce management experience
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through change, growth, and continuous improvement
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and creating positive client experiences
  • Sound understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation, quality standards, and sector reform
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities

Most importantly, you are a leader who inspires trust, builds strong teams, and creates an environment where both clients and employees can thrive.

What We Offer

At Brightwater, we recognise that great leaders deserve great support.

In return, you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary package
  • Salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per annum
  • Extensive professional development and leadership growth opportunities
  • Access to BrightwaterPlus with discounts across 370+ retailers
  • Private health insurance discounts and benefits
  • A supportive executive leadership team that values innovation and continuous improvement
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference within a purpose-driven organisation
