Project Management Office | Fixed Term Fulltime (12-months)  

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Programs team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of key technology projects, including the implementation of a new workforce management system that will modernise a critical part of our operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Strategic Programs and Business Performance, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology projects across Brightwater.

Working closely with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT teams, vendor partners and the Strategic Change Manager, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with Brightwater's project governance framework. You'll also play a key role in maintaining business continuity throughout implementation and driving successful adoption of new systems across the organisation.

This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence meaningful change across Residential Aged Care, Disability, Allied Health and Catering services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology projects, ensuring successful outcomes against scope, budget and timelines.
  • Managing procurement and vendor selection activities, including RFPs, evaluations, demonstrations and contract recommendations.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, governance documentation, status reports and Steering Committee papers.
  • Monitoring and managing project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where required.
  • Coordinating system configuration, testing, deployment and transition activities with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Partnering with the Strategic Change Manager to support training, business readiness and user adoption.
  • Maintaining operational continuity throughout implementation and transition phases.
  • Providing regular project updates to executive stakeholders and the Strategic Steering Committee.

About You

You're an experienced Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering technology implementations in complex environments. You know how to balance project governance with practical delivery, build strong stakeholder relationships and keep projects moving forward.

You'll bring:

  • Experience delivering enterprise technology or business systems projects.
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes, including RFPs.
  • Strong risk, issue and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a strong sense of accountability for project outcomes.

Experience within aged care, disability services or healthcare will be highly regarded but is not essential.

You will also need:

  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained in the last 12 months
