Project Coordinator – Technology Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Technology Services team. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the successful delivery of multiple IT projects and complex workstreams across the organisation.

Working closely with Program and Project Managers, you’ll provide structured project coordination, governance and administrative support, helping ensure project activities are well‑planned, tracked, reported and delivered in line with Brightwater’s project management framework.

Key responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Provide project coordination and administrative support across multiple technology initiatives
  • Coordinate project governance activities including meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking
  • Maintain high‑quality project documentation, schedules, registers and artefacts
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones, escalating where required
  • Support project financial administration including purchase orders, invoices and cost tracking
  • Assist with resource coordination, onboarding and access management
  • Prepare and distribute project reports, communications and presentations for stakeholders
  • Act as a central point of contact for project queries, working closely with internal teams and vendors
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and improving delivery practices

About you

To be successful in the role, you will be a highly organised and detail‑oriented projects professional who thrives in a structured PMO environment. You’re confident coordinating multiple priorities, building relationships with diverse stakeholders, and keeping projects on track.

In addition, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, IT, Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator role supporting complex or multi‑stream projects
  • Strong project coordination, governance and reporting capabilities
  • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project financial administration and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of structured project delivery frameworks and PMO governance
  • Project management certification or training (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, PMBOK, Agile)
  • Experience supporting ERP or enterprise system implementations
  • Experience in aged care, disability services or a similar human services environment
  • Current Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
