The Opportunity

Brightwater is seeking a dedicated Pathways and Partnerships Officer (0.8 FTE, fixed term - up to 2 years) to support the delivery of clinical placements across our services. This role plays a key part in aligning placements with strategic workforce initiatives, fostering strong educational partnerships, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will contribute to building a sustainable workforce pipeline and enhancing Brightwater’s reputation as a provider of choice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and delivery of clinical placements through effective partnerships with higher education institutions and Brightwater service teams.
  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and feedback processes for students, trainees and graduates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external education partners.
  • Monitor placement outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training and supporting site preceptors and mentors.
  • Support the implementation of funded initiatives and sector reforms.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting requirements.
  • Promote Brightwater’s student placement programs and manage placement activity.
  • Facilitate career development pathways to grow internal talent and improve retention through education and professional development opportunities.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA and relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Experience in learning design and delivery, student placements, and workforce development.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of aged care legislation and standards (desirable).
  • Valid Driver’s License to drive in Western Australia and reliable transport.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate (within the last 12 months).
