This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Care Worker to join The Village site in Inglewood on a permanent part-time basis.

Multi Skilled Care Workers work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

The Village has 55 private rooms and is a dementia specific site.  To be considered for this role candidates must have aged care experience, and this must include the delivery of care to clients with dementia.

This role is being offered as a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per fortnight with set night shifts to be covered each fortnight. The night shifts have working hours 11pm-7am and the shifts to be covered are:

  • Week one – Wednesday and Sunday nights
  • Week two – Wednesday and Thursday nights

To be considered for this role you must be available to work these night shifts. There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at the site.

Candidates will also be considered for future similar vacancies at Brightwater.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering quality care and support to our clients
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan
  • Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds
  • Aged-care experience and this must include dementia care
  • An empathetic, compassionate nature with a client-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload safely and efficiently
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
