Brightwater is currently seeking an experienced and Injury Management and Return to Work Coordinator to join our Safety and Health team for a fixed term up to 16-months full time, covering a period of parental leave.
The Injury Management and Return to Work Coordinator plays a crucial role in two key areas:
Employee Support: Facilitating the safe and successful return to work for injured employees by utilizing fit-for-purpose frameworks such as an early intervention program and structed return-to-work initiatives. Where required, assisting the navigation of workers' compensation system will also be required.
Safety Improvement: Collaborating with business leaders and at-risk employees to create and implement initiatives aimed at reducing safety incidents, preventing injuries, and enhancing Brightwater's overall safety performance.
Reporting to the Manager, Work Health and Safety, this position will collaborate with site leaders to manage and successfully return to work injured workers at Brightwater.
This is a crucial role that will also provide significant input into improvement initiatives for the whole of Brightwater’s safety performance, with a particular focus on strategies that will reduce injuries across the organisation.
