Brightwater is seeking a Communications Manager to join our corporate team based out of our lovely Head Office in Inglewood. In this dynamic role, you will be key in leading the development and implementation of communication strategies, advice and services that positively contribute to the performance, growth and recognition of the Brightwater Brand. In you new role, you will be tasked with spearheading our communication strategies that in turn drive a positive perception of Brightwater and our services.

Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Developing, implementing and reviewing communications strategies that support organizational strategy in line with the wider business objectives.
  • Providing strategic communications advice that develops the capability for managers and internal leaderships teams to allow them to serve as organisational ambassadors.
  • Developing and driving external communications that build and maintain a positive stakeholder perception of Brightwater and its services.
  • Overseeing the delivery of internal communications, delivering initiatives that connect and engage employees, supporting a shared mission.
  • Supporting key spokespersons in the development of internal and external communications, media interactions and presentations.
  • Managing the delivery of continual improvement of a broad range of integrated, responsive and contemporary communications services.
  • Leading and managing communication response to emerging, potential and actual reputational risk.
  • Participating in organizational planning and budget processes

 

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that deliver positive outcomes for the larger organization.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills with a  demonstrated ability in building collaborative and consultative working partnerships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated experience providing a broad range of integrated, intuitive and contemporary communications services.
  • Excellent grammatical skills and the ability to translate and articulate complex issues for consumption by diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to seek out and integrate diverse thinking in decision making.
  • Satisfactory compliance requirement that includes National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months and a valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport (DoT).
