As one of Australia’s largest and most respected care providers, we combine deep expertise with a progressive spirit to empower both our clients and our people. Our mission is to support individuals in pursuing the dignity of independence — and we do this through the dedication and compassion of our team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at our Madeley site on a Fixed Term Full-Time basis to cover Leave until 23 October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate nursing leader to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Brightwater Madeley has 110 private rooms that span across six interlinking houses. There is also an onsite café.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will work closely with the Service Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager and an additional Clinical Nurse to ensure the highest standards of clinical care, aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater’s Clinical Governance Framework. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, promoting holistic, client-focused care that reflects our mission and values.

About You

We’re looking for a confident clinical leader who brings both expertise and heart to their work. You will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse (preferably in Residential Aged Care)
  • Current registration with Ahpra
  • Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of the lived experiences of people with dementia and their families. Proven leadership capabilities and a passion for mentoring others
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Understanding of clinical audits and continuous improvement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with aged care standards and sector requirements
  • Experience in recruitment and staff performance management
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and participate in an on-call roster

What We Offer

  • Salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
  • Access to BrightwaterPlus – discounts with over 370 retailers
  • Discounted Australian College of Nursing membership
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
