The primary role of the Allied Health Team Coordinator is to provide Allied Health leadership and coordinate the services of an Allied Health team. This includes coordinating resources of the interdisciplinary therapy team, supporting the Senior Therapists in providing clinical support to therapists to ensure a quality Allied Health service that is flexible, adaptive, client-focused and linked to client goals. The AH Team Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure efficient and timely service delivery for clients in the Capacity Building Program. They are expected to work closely with the Engagement, Funding and Scheduling team to ensure a smooth client journey.
 

This role will be recruited on a fixed-term full time basis until Jan 2027 to cover a period of maternity leave and will be based in our Capacity Building team.

The be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Registered as an Allied Health professional with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Advanced experience providing safe and high quality Allied Health services.  
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the recruitment and selection, performance management, staff development and other human resource activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to operational plans and responsible budgets and managing change initiatives.  
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven customer-focused work ethic, highly developed person-centred skills.
  • Working knowledge of Safety and Health legislation; and where relevant the Aged Care Act (1997) and Aged Care Quality Standards, National Standards for Disability Services, Transition Care Program and/or care packages.
  • Valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport (DoT).
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
