Accounts Payable Officer

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, working on a fixed term full-time basis (12 months) at Brightwater Inglewood.

Reporting to the Lead Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the processing of invoices, debit memos, payment adjustments, and other related tasks. You will regularly liaise with our sites, and suppliers, working to resolve any issues and answering all queries promptly, plus provide support to the broader Finance team as required and in line with acceptable service levels.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification or significant equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • Able to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) in various environments with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent computer skills including excellent working knowledge of PC based accounting systems and Microsoft excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with minimum supervision, demonstrating initiative for priority setting, goal achievement and time management.
  • Sound knowledge of the principles of accounts payable.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and priorities tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines.
  • Results orientated individual who actively participates in continuous quality improvement and applies quality improvement principles to all duties performed.
  • Aged Care, Health industry, or service orientated experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Concur and Epicor financial systems (desirable).”
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old.
  • Evidence of up to date flu vaccination
