Speech Pathologist – Community (Perth Metro)
Permanent full-time or part-time options available
Both new graduates and experienced candidates encouraged to apply
Not another generic speech pathology job ad. Promise.
If you’re a speechie, you probably know the feeling:
Assessment after assessment.
Reports that take longer than the therapy.
Caseloads that don’t stretch your clinical skills.
And working in isolation when you know a client needs more than communication therapy alone.
It’s no wonder the “perfect speechie job” feels like it doesn’t exist…
If that sounds familiar, keep reading.
What if your speech pathology role actually helped you grow?
At Brightwater, you work alongside OTs, physios, dietitians, behavioural clinicians and support workers every day.
When you collaborate instead of working alone, things shift:
You learn more.
You grow faster.
Your reports feel more meaningful.
Your sessions feel more impactful.
Your workload feels more sustainable.
You build the kind of multidisciplinary capability most speech pathologists only get by juggling several roles.
Clients who make the work meaningful again
You’ll work with people whose communication needs are complex and clinically rich — including ABI, Huntington’s Disease, Young Onset Dementia and cognitive or behavioural changes.
These clients stretch your speech pathology skills (language, cognition, communication, swallowing) in the best possible ways — without overwhelming you.
They remind you why you became a speechie in the first place.
