The Opportunity:

Brightwater is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead the team at Brightwater Birralee, located in Innaloo. This facility supports 30 permanent residents and 30 transitional care clients, offering high-quality services tailored to individuals with advanced dementia and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of clinical care aligned with Brightwater’s standards.
• Ensure full compliance with the Transitional Care Program requirements.
• Manage financial operations and ensure budget compliance.
• Lead recruitment and staff development initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Foster a culture of excellence and compassion within a diverse team.

About the Role:

• Permanent full-time position
• Core business hours: Monday to Friday, with some flexibility
• Lead a large, multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Drive continuous improvement in line with Brightwater’s mission

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience as a Service Manager, qualified and suitably registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (desirable).
• Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care using a client-centred approach.
• Sound understanding of accreditation in aged care or health and the federal and state aged care reforms, and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in the operational management of physical, human and financial resources, including budgeting, recruitment, performance management, training and development, with knowledge of safety and health legislation and employment legislation.
