We are currently seeking applications for Senior Physiotherapist – FALLS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM to join our team for maternity leave cover from September 2025 until July 2026 on a part-time fixed term contract working 30 hours per fortnight.

Based at Inglewood, this role involves travel to sites.

This role specifically consults on complex falls in RAC and Disability, analyses fall trends across services and uses evidence to advise and curate appropriate Falls prevention and harm minimisation strategies at sites. The role utilises change management strategies to embed best practice, and work with our research team in the exercise for falls space. This role will be key in the role out of the organization’s new Falls policy suite in the coming months.

You will work alongside another Falls specialist physio, and report to the Allied Health manager. This is a great opportunity to build on your consulting and leadership skills and explore how it is to embed best practice for falls at an organisational and coal face level.

   

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Have well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. 
  • Understand and apply the Aged Care Quality Standards compliance requirements and Transition Care guidelines in a Physiotherapy context. 
  • Experience providing physiotherapy services with a restorative approach to care. 
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, implement and successfully evaluate client care in consultation with a multi-disciplinary team.  
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills that develops inclusive teamwork and establishes successful working relationships with stakeholder. 
  • Proven customer-focused work ethic, highly developed person-centred skills, strong commitment to Brightwater’s Mission, and values alignment with Brightwater’s value 
  • The ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement and the capability to identify and implement associated activities. 
  • Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence 
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months. 
  • Satisfactory NDIS Workers Screening Check
