The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, Brightwater is offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and proactive Roving Service Manager to join our senior leadership team. This permanent full-time role operates during core business hours, Monday to Friday, and offers the chance to work across 10 metro residential aged care sites: Joondalup, Kingsley, Madeley, Inglewood, Innaloo, Subiaco, Redcliffe, Waikiki, and Mandurah.

In this role, you will provide leadership coverage during planned and unplanned leave and contribute to strategic projects within the Residential Aged Care team. You may also be called upon to cover leave for Operations Managers.

Applicants may also be considered for site-based Service Manager roles across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage residential aged care and transitional care sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care and operational excellence.
  • Oversee financial performance, resource allocation, and facility management.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, staff development, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Brightwater policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and resolve complex operational challenges with practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Support budget planning and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Optimise client funding through accurate and timely submissions.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support in collaboration with other senior leaders.

About You

  • Proven leadership experience in aged care, ideally in a Service Manager capacity.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is desirable.
  • Strong commitment to safe, high-quality, client-centred care.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aged care accreditation, reforms, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage physical, human, and financial resources effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of employment and occupational safety legislation.
