Join Our Dementia Care Team – Registered Nurse Opportunity (Inglewood)

Brightwater is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for dementia care to join our dedicated team north of the river at The Village in Inglewood.

About The Village:
Purpose-built to support people living with dementia, The Village offers a unique and supportive environment. The site features 56 private rooms across six individual houses, fostering a homely and person-centred approach to care.

What’s on Offer

  • Permanent part-time position
  • Week 1: Tuesday PM shift (15:00 – 22:30)
  • Week 2: Friday PM shift (15:00 – 23:15)
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts

The Role:

This positions forms part of a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for, and with, clients of Brightwater Care Group. This position delivers inclusive and person-centred quality care and support in accordance with individualised client Care Plans to ensure optimal service provision that actively promotes choice, independence, and quality of life, in a safe and home like environment.

To be successful, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Deliver a strong clinical care service
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach
  • Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old and valid CPR)
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
