About Brightwater

Since 1901, Brightwater has supported people of all ages to live better. Care is at our core. We stand beside clients through change, bringing experience and understanding to the complexities of ageing and disability, including dementia, Huntington’s disease and acquired brain injury.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Injury Management and Wellbeing Partner to join our Safety & Health team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and people-focused professional to lead injury management initiatives, partner with leaders across the business, and drive positive wellbeing outcomes for our workforce.

In this dynamic role, you will play a key role in supporting employees through injury prevention, recovery and return-to-work programs, while contributing to broader wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.

You will also act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on workers' compensation claims, rehabilitation programs and injury management frameworks, helping employees achieve safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Why Join Brightwater

  • Make a real impact on employee wellbeing and recovery.
  • Help shape injury prevention and return-to-work outcomes.
  • Join a collaborative and values-driven team.
  • Grow your career alongside a leading WA care organisation.
  • Salary packaging up to $18,550 annually to reduce tax and boost take-home pay.
  • Flexible work arrangements supporting work–life balance.
  • BrightwaterPlus discounts at 370+ retailers, including health insurers.
  • MyFitnessPassport access to gyms, studios and pools.
  • 24/7 medical and mental health support for you and your family.
  • Employee referral scheme, paid parental leave and return-to-work bonus.

What you’ll bring

  • A degree in Safety and Health or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of the WA workers' compensation scheme and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing workers' compensation claims in a complex organisation, insurer or related environment.
  • Experience developing and managing return-to-work and rehabilitation programs.
  • Knowledge of the WHS Act 2020 and associated standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting claims and injury data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience using safety management systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months.
  • A current valid WA driver’s licence.
