We are seeking reliable and an experienced Hotel Services Team Lead to join the residential aged care team at our Oxford Gardens site.

Located near Lake Joondalup, Brightwater Oxford Gardens provides high quality care for people with a range of different needs, including those with advanced dementia and high care needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure a clean, sanitary, well-maintained, and home-like environment by performing and supporting daily cleaning and laundry tasks across internal and external areas.
• Work in collaboration with the Hospitality Support Officer and site-based teams
• Oversee and support the provision of high-quality, safe, and nutritious meals and refreshments to residents, ensuring compliance with Brightwater’s Food Safety Plan, HACCP principles, and dietary guidelines
• Monitor and assess the quality of meals, cleaning, and laundry services provided on site, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete and review audit documentation and compliance records including FoodSafe logs, and provide feedback to the Hotel Services staff, the Service Manager and the Hospitality Services team Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen stock
• Take responsibility for the oversight and hospitality coordination of site-based special events, collaborating closely with the Service Manager, Admin, Allied Health, and Care Services teams to ensure successful delivery.

To be considered for this pivotal role, you must possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
• Leadership skills and the ability to coach others and provide constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of cooking and food preparation. This should include an understanding of safe meal preparation and serving presentation.
• Strong person-centred skills and the ability to communicate and engage with clients with dementia and/or high support needs.
• Knowledge and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services. (Desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
• Satisfactory compliance requirement that includes NDIS Worker Screening check, National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months and a valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia.
