We have an exciting opportunity for current Hotel Services (Cleaners) to submit an Expression of Interest to join our second Younger Onset Dementia (YOD) Supported Independent Living (SIL) home located in Kingsley.  Due to be open soon, Aurora House will support 5 clients and has multiple living areas, large outdoor spaces, established gardens and a dedicated Therapy Room.

This YOD Service Model & Model of Care incorporates a Dementia enabling environment, reablement and active care approach and relationship centred care.

We currently have a permanent part time contract working 24 hours per fortnight Tuesday & Thursdays (8am-2pm).

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• A caring and positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a clean, sanitary and homely environment
• Providing a quality meal experience for our clients
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen stock
• Providing an efficient laundry service
