As a Brightwater Disability Enrolled Nurse, you will participate in orientation and coaching for your new role. You will have 24/7 senior staff support, on-site or over the phone. We also support our Enrolled Nurses who are on a pathway to become a Registered Nurse.
We are growing and are seeking Experienced Enrolled Nurses to join the disability team in Kingsley:
Located in Kingsley, our Young Onset Dementia House is a supported independent living home that accommodates five clients who are living with young onset dementia. This household model of care encourages clients to maintain their independence while receiving tailored support. As an enrolled nurse, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and individualised care to our clients, helping them engage meaningfully in daily activities, and promoting their overall wellbeing and independence.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for working with people living with Young Onset Dementia.
- Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Deliver strong clinical care.
- Experience in aged care or disability support (preferred but not essential).
- Sound understanding of manual handling and personal care techniques (training provided).
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
- A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and autonomy of clients.
- Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on clients.
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
- First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)
On offer are a variety of opportunities working part time and fixed term contracts.
Working Monday to Sunday 7:00am - 15:15pm, the ideal candidate will be available to work a minimum of 4x shifts per week.
