Our Domestic Cleaners provide cleaning services and domestic assistance support to our elderly clients living in their own private homes in the community, enabling them to live safely and independently while improving their quality of life.  

This position is also a good introduction into aged care in the community and a stepping stone into a Community Support Worker role if you decide to progress your career in this field.

We have a permanent part time opportunity available for a reliable Domestic Cleaner to assist our elderly clients living in the community and seeking cleaners that live in and around the Booragoon, Hamilton Hill, Alfred Cove and Spearwood areas (preference will be given to cleaners that live close to our clients) 

You will ideally be able to work every Monday to Friday between 8.30am - 1.30pm

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• Working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals
• A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely using safe manual handling practices
• Dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse people in various environments
• Customer focused and able to work without direct supervision in the community in diverse cultural and home environments
• Flexible approach with work with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines
• Willing to undertake training as and when required
• Previous experience working in aged care or cleaning services (desirable)
• A reliable licensed vehicle to travel between clients(essential)
• Current valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport. (essential)
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
