About Brightwater
At Brightwater, we believe everyone has potential and no one is beyond care. We support people of all ages to live a better quality of life. With a track record dating back to 1901, care is at our core.
We stand beside our clients during times of personal change, using our experience and understanding to provide the support they need. We are building connected, thriving communities where people feel they belong, and we're ready for the complexities that come with ageing and disability, including dementia, Huntington's disease and acquired brain injury.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Change Partner to work alongside our leaders and teams as we introduce new ways of managing our workforce, with a focus on the Bright Workforce project.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity (with the possibility of extension) reporting to the Strategic Change Manager. In this role, you'll work closely with operational leaders, project teams, Communications, Learning & Development, and our Organisational Development team to help them understand, prepare for, and embrace new ways of working.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working with People Leaders as a trusted partner, equipping them with the tools, messages, and support they need to lead their teams through change.
- Joining the Bright Workforce project team to understand what's changing, who it affects, and what support people need.
- Using Brightwater's change toolkit to assess impacts and develop practical change plans with the business.
- Creating clear, practical resources such as leader talking points, FAQs, and quick reference guides for frontline and corporate teams.
- Facilitating workshops, demonstrations, and drop-in sessions, and maintaining a visible presence on-site throughout go-live.
- Supporting Change Champions across Residential Aged Care, Brightwater at Home, and Disability Services.
- Gathering feedback, monitoring adoption, and helping ensure change is sustained well beyond go-live.
Why Join Brightwater
- Be part of a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation making a real difference in pursuing the dignity of independence.
- Join an inclusive culture that values diversity, innovation, and growth.
- Access ongoing professional and career development opportunities.

- Enjoy flexible working arrangements that support a healthy work-life balance.
- Receive 24/7 expert medical and mental health support for you and your family through our Employee Assistance Program.

- Benefit from paid parental leave and a return-to-work bonus.
What you’ll bring
- Experience supporting and/or implementing change, transition, or improvement initiatives in an operational environment.
- A natural ability to build relationships and establish credibility with leaders and frontline staff.
- Confidence facilitating workshops and sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
