Internal Opportunity

We are seeking Expressions of Interests from current Brightwater employees for the short-term opportunity in the role of Capability Pathways & Partnerships Lead, supporting the Education and Training team while the permanent position is being recruited and appointed.

This role will provide leadership and coordination across education and training activities, working collaboratively with the Education and Clinical Specialty team, operational leaders and site-based teams to support safe, high-quality, person-centred care through a skilled and confident workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional development and exposure to:

  • Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Education and Training team.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of clinical education, workforce capability and learning priorities across Brightwater.
  • Coordinating the delivery of education and training programs across aged care, disability and community services.
  • Supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of practical, accessible learning activities for staff.
  • Partnering with operational leaders to identify training needs, capability gaps and site-specific education priorities.
  • Supporting mandatory training, competency requirements and compliance reporting.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to educators and staff involved in learning delivery.
  • Contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and risk reduction through targeted education responses.
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external education partners to strengthen learning pathways.
  • Supporting team priorities, workload coordination and operational requirements during this transition period.

To be considered for this role you require:

  • Relevant clinical experience and a strong understanding of education and training within aged care, disability, community or health settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to support, coordinate or deliver education and training using adult learning principles.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams and services.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with confidence to support teams through competing priorities and operational demands.
  • Sound organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, monitor progress and follow through on key deliverables.
  • An interest in leadership, mentoring and contributing to continuous improvement in education and clinical capability.
