Brightwater is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for staff development to join our new Clinical Excellence team as a Training Lead.  This is a permanent full-time position based in our head office in Inglewood.

 

Reporting to the General Manager Education and Clinical Speciality, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing embedding of a comprehensive organisational wide training matrix that ensures all clinical training is delivered in line with regulatory, legislative, and professional standards.

You will oversee the timely, consistent, and targeted delivery of training and development activities, monitoring and evaluation.

Key Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver end to end learning and development services that meet both the requirements of the organisation and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of professionals that deliver contemporary, best‑practice training to support our workforce, and is aligned with the Clinical Excellence Division strategy.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve current and future learning offerings
  • Ensure training activities are identified, with the needs and expectations of our stakeholders understood.
  • Coordinate training and education to facilitate staff to be compliant with mandatory training requirements in line with Brightwater’s requirements.

 

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing, or a relevant field with a current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex teams towards goal achievement and outcomes consistent with organisational purpose, values and strategy.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the ability to lead, influence and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Significant experience working in adult learning, including leading programs/training.
  • Proven skills in leading projects and change management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to support others as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months and a valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport (DoT).
