We have an exciting opportunity for current support/care workers to submit an Expression of Interest to join our second Younger Onset Dementia (YOD) Supported Independent Living (SIL) home located in Kingsley.  Due to be open soon, Aurora House will support 5 clients and has multiple living areas, large outdoor spaces, established gardens and a dedicated Therapy Room.

This YOD Service Model & Model of Care incorporates a Dementia enabling environment, reablement and active care approach and relationship centred care.

We are offering permanent contracts covering our Morning & Afternoons at this stage.

**Please note you must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts listed above**

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

• A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
• Experience supporting clients with Dementia (desirable)
• Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments and the ability to inclusively communicate with a diverse range of people Proven customer-focused work ethic
• Strong person-centred skills and behaviours in communicating and engaging and with clients with high support needs
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently
• Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
